Volunteers and members are essential to the smooth operations of the Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society and Museum.  We are always looking for more people who are interested in helping preserve and share the history of the Marblehead Lighthouse and the Marblehead Peninsula.  Think about becoming a part of our organization.

A VIP corps of volunteers assists Park personnel with tower tours. Our Society members serve as volunteers in the Museum and Lifesaving Station.

More help will be needed as the work of the society expands to accept collections, artifacts and build displays for an even better museum. The displays are self-explanatory and the major task of the volunteer is to welcome the visitors and guide them to the display that represents their particular interest: lighthouse, shipping, shipwrecks, local history, etc.

If you wish to serve as a volunteer, fill out our form and we will contact you
