Looking to Have a Special Event at the Lighthouse?
Weddings
To have your wedding at the lighthouse, you will need to call East Harbor State Park at (419) 734-4424 for a permit and guidelines.
Engagements
The lighthouse is the perfect place to propose. The grounds are open 24/7 so you can find a time without big crowds for you to have a special moment near the water or in front of the lighthouse. To propose at the top of the tower, let us know when you are coming during regular tour hours and we will try to help make your event special.
Because the Marblehead Lighthouse is located within the Marblehead Lighthouse State Park which is part of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, a permit for weddings and other special events is needed. A link to the permit can be found at:
